Efficient working
Following the pandemic’s forced shift to remote working, for many this has become a permanent change to their working lives. However, many firms have been left with a mixture of pre- and post-pandemic models that could be incurring some unnecessary costs, especially important in an inflationary environment. Areas to consider include:
- Devices – does your team have the right equipment to effectively perform? Have you considered leasing rather than buying?
- Telecoms – would a Microsoft Teams phone system be better than your desk phones?
- Cloud services – when did you last audit your cloud services and associated costs? Do you still need all these services or are there better plans available?
- Working from home – do staff have a docking station with large monitor and a fast and secure internet connection?
