2023 is here and many see the new year as an opportunity to turn over a new leaf and implement new behaviours. Whilst you really can do this any time of year, we would urge you to take stock of your IT infrastructure and think about some changes you can make to ensure it’s doing what you want it to.
New Year resolutions
It’s that time of year when we are all thinking ahead and planning changes in our lives whether large or small. If you want to improve your cyber security (and we recommend that you do), put investing in a password manager at the top of your list of resolutions. The benefits include:
- Managing all your credentials from a single app (no more forgotten passwords)
- Having a strong, unique password for each account
- Easy implementation of Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Automatic security audit highlighting password breaches, weak, compromised or duplicated passwords
Here is what the NCSC thinks about password managers.
