Intranet – all inclusive
We’ve recently covered collaboration and document sharing, achieved through SharePoint Online. However, SPO also facilitates the creation of a private website or “intranet”. I can hear you asking “why do I need one of those?”! Intranets are a great way to both engage your staff and communicate with your teams. Whether it’s hosting your HR information, onboarding new staff, providing the latest news and upcoming events or delivering training and resources material, it’s a simple way to make sure everyone is informed, regardless of where they are located. Modern SPO has some great (free) templates to get you started quickly. Check out Microsoft’s look book for inspiration.
Supply chain security
Post-pandemic, we’re all very much more aware of logistical issues within our supply chains, however, have you ever thought about their potential cyber security problems? The NCSC has just issued fresh guidance on this topic following an increase in supply chain cyber attacks. It’s definitely worth a read and includes several useful links such its 10 Steps to Cyber Security with this short overview video nicely summarising the underlying principles.
